The Story Behind the Jewellery

This necklace is a celebration of nature's beauty, featuring cultured freshwater pearls strung together with an exquisite acorn pendant. The acorn’s cap is crafted from a mould taken from a real acorn found at Althorp House, capturing the charm and authenticity of the British countryside. The base of the acorn is formed from an ivory rice bead pearl, thoughtfully chosen to complement the necklace and evoke a sense of woodland wonder.

Pearls have long been treasured for their lustre and timeless elegance, and each freshwater pearl in this necklace reflects the serenity of lakes, rivers, and the sea. Their gentle sheen echoes the shimmering light that dances across water, inviting memories of tranquil walks along the coast and through lush green woodlands. The acorn, symbolising strength and growth, is paired with pearls to create a piece that is both evocative and deeply connected to the natural world.

Inspired by the textures and forms found in forests and by the sea, every necklace is individually handmade, ensuring that no two are ever quite alike. This uniqueness celebrates the diversity and spirit of nature, making each piece a wearable tribute to countryside landscapes, woodland treasures, and coastal adventures. Whether worn as a reminder of peaceful strolls amongst ancient trees or as an ode to the wild beauty of the sea, this necklace offers a heartfelt connection to the outdoors.

As with all my jewellery, each item is crafted with care and attention to detail, designed to bring a touch of nature’s magic and joy into your everyday life. Every piece is unique, reflecting the handmade artistry and the story behind its creation.
