Friendly Frog began in 2019, sparked by a personal passion for creativity and a desire to make heartfelt gifts for myself and friends. From a young age, I have always been drawn to artistic pursuits, spending countless hours sketching and exploring the graceful lines of calligraphy. Over time, this creative foundation has naturally evolved into my love for jewellery making.

I began learning how to make jewellery with silver metal clay through books, gaining hands-on experience. I enrolled in the Diploma in Silver Metal Clay at the Jewellers Academy and successfully earned my diploma in 2025.
 

The inspiration for my designs is deeply rooted in the beauty of the natural world. Strolling through woodlands and along coastal paths, I’m continually captivated by the rich textures and organic forms I encounter—acorns, delicate roses, twisting leaves, rugged bark, and intricate seashells all find their way into my work. Each piece I create is thoughtfully crafted to capture the unique character and emotion of these natural settings, transforming fleeting moments in nature into wearable art.

I also enjoy incorporating freshwater pearls and natural gemstones into my jewellery, lending an eclectic and contemporary edge to my collections. This combination of materials allows each piece to tell its own story, connecting the wearer not just to the beauty of the outdoors, but also to the feeling and spirit behind its creation. I take great care to ensure every item is more than just an accessory—it’s a celebration of artistry, nature, and personal connection.
